Edward M. Sager, CPA is a founding partner based out of our Lancaster office. His experience prior to Sager, Swisher and Company, LLP includes being a traveling auditor and store controller for Sears Roebuck & Company.  Ed retired at the end of 2007 but remains available as a consultant to all commercial business clients serviced out of our Lancaster office. He has more than 45 years in public accounting with extensive experience in income tax preparation, management consulting and advisory services, estate, tax and financial planning, succession planning, Internal Revenue Service representation, and banking relationships.  Because of his diverse expertise, Ed has the ability to analyze businesses in depth and provide clients with viable solutions that best suits their needs.

In 1974 Ed teamed up with C. Edwin Swisher, III to form Sager, Swisher & Company, LLP. He is a member of both the Pennsylvania and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is involved in the community through several social/service organizations.  He has served as Chairman of the Lancaster Housing Authority and President of Lancaster City Council.
