C. Edwin Swisher, III, CPA is a founding partner based out of our Columbia office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Franklin & Marshall College.  He has been employed in the public accounting profession since 1965 and has over 35 years experience with governmental, nonprofit and commercial audits as well as compilations and reviews of financial statements. Ed retired at the end of 2007 but remains available as a consultant. He has extensive experience in corporate, partnership, individual and fiduciary income tax preparation, management consulting and advisory services, estate taxation,  financial planning, succession planning, Internal Revenue Service representation, and banking and bonding relationships.  His tax and accounting experience includes various industries including construction contractors, funeral homes, wholesale distributors and medical and other professional practices as well as other commercial entities. He is a member of both the Pennsylvania and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is involved in the community through several social/service organizations.
